Conduction of Workshop as a part of Course MAEL-001 of PGDAE/MAAE Pre-Revised Programmes

Dear Learners,

This is related to the Workshop to be conducted as a part of course MAEL-001 of PGDAE / MAAE pre-revised programme. In this regard, you may kindly take note of the following upcoming workshop event to facilitate you under your RC to participate in it and complete the ‘Workshop’ component of the said course. (Note: In case you have already conducted it, or have already planned for a separate workshop or intend to conduct it for students under your region, you may ignore it).

As a Nodal RC for PGDAE/MAAE programmes, Regional Centre Delhi-2 of IGNOU is planning to organise a Workshop in the last week of January, 2025 (tentative date) for the Students of PGDAE and MAAE programmes who are attached to it. The workshop is proposed to be organised in blended-learning mode. The students can attend the workshop sessions (virtual sessions) organized through online mode and they can perform the individual/group activities, as the case may be, in off-line mode. Therefore,  PGDAE/MAAE students of other SCs / RCs of IGNOU from any part of the country can participate in the said workshop. Therefore, the students of PGDAE and MAAE pre-revised programmes from all SCs under your Regional Centre (RC) who are willing to avail the opportunity may be encouraged to participate in the said workshop.

In view of the above, the Regional Directors of all RCs having students for PGDAE and/or MAAE pre-revised programmes under their regions, and not planning to conduct the Workshops of their own in their respective regions for them are requested to take necessary action to facilitate participation of all the eligible students in the said workshop proposed by RC, Delhi-2. Eligible students means those whose maximum duration of the concerned programme is not over, and those who have been active (i.e. who have submitted at least the assignments for theory courses of the relevant programme) as well as willing to participate in the said workshop. Please note that those who took admission for PGDAE and MAAE pre-revised programmes in the sessions of July 2022 and July 2023 can attend the workshop. Since the workshop sessions will be held in online mode the willing students can participate from their respective places of living / working, as may be convenient. The Regional Directors may therefore inform, advise and/or direct the concerned students under their respective regions to avail the opportunity to participate in the said workshop. In doing so, the communications sent to their students may kindly be marked as CC to the RC Delhi-2 (e-mail ID: rcdelhi2@ignou.ac.in). Further, the Coordinators / Programme In-charges of concerned SCs/PSCs under your RC may also be put in the communication loop for effective coordination of participation of the concerned students in the said workshop. 

You may therefore kindly advice / direct the students concerned to directly contact and be in touch with the Programme In-Charge of RC, Delhi-2 (e-mail ID: rcdelhi2@ignou.ac.in ) who is the organiser of the workshop, and keep your RC informed about their participation in it.
